Work Party Gilling West Fishery
 ( Cow Pasture Lake )

Well as you can see we had a good turn out on the day, the weather was quite good although the wind was a bit of a problem at times.

The fish havens were made up of 4" heavy duty wire mesh made into 1 metre diameter cylinders with a nylon netting put over the tops, eventually we will plant these up with some floating plants similar to those in the picture ( Top far right ).

I think we put in around about 30 of the havens in groups of between 6 & 8 with a few smaller ones to the back of the island all of which are visible by the willow branches standing out of the water.

Many thanks to all of you who attended.
