RIVER LEVEN

This water is jointly owned with YARM AA and has its own specific rules which should be read before fishing.

The fishery comprises approximately two & half miles of double bank fishing, upstream from Leven Bridge near Yarm.

For those that don’t know this river is only small and probably not much more than a rod length wide, mainly overgrown with plenty of overhanging trees and bushes making the use of a short rod and travelling light a necessity.

This water is known to hold some fairly big Chub & Brown Trout although at the right time of year given favourable conditions there can be quite a good run of Sea Trout; it seems the best method is to creep around dropping a worm into likely looking spots. So if you fancy a day as DAVY CROCKETT this is the place to go.
